Trauma & Somatic Therapy
Body-led approaches that move through trauma instead of around it.
Couples therapy here is less about scripts and more about a felt re-meeting. We help partners move past defensive patterns into honest contact — where real intimacy, repair, and choice become possible again.
Who this is for
- Communication & conflict
- Trust repair & infidelity
- Pre-marital & life-stage transitions
- Reconnection & intimacy
Our approach

What to expect
How the work unfolds, step by step.
Step 1
A gentle intake call
A 15-minute call that respects your pacing — we don’t ask you to re-tell the story.
Step 2
Stabilization first
Early sessions focus on resourcing, regulation skills, and building a felt sense of safety before any active processing.
Step 3
Trauma processing
When the system is ready, we use EMDR-, Brainspotting-, or Somatic Experiencing-informed work to digest what’s stuck.
Step 4
Integration
We help you weave the shifts into daily life — relationships, body, work, identity.
What you'll need
A few things to come prepared with.
- A private, quiet space (especially for telehealth processing sessions)
- Permission to go slowly — no pressure to disclose before you're ready
- Capacity to attend weekly (continuity matters with trauma work)
- Any existing diagnoses, prior trauma work history, or current medications (optional)
Move through what's been frozen — at your nervous system's pace.
Book a free, no-pressure 15 minute call. We’ll listen for what you’re carrying and match you with a trauma trained clinician whose approach fits.
